Hello! Here is a little bit about me and about my journey so far.
I am a Rhode Island native, born and raised in East Providence. I enjoyed filling my early years with dance and band practice. This would later lead to a complete admiration for all of the performing arts which is where my passions still lie and where I've chosen to make my career.
I graduated from Rhode Island College (RIC) with a BA in Dance Performance along with a BA in Musical Theater Performance. Throughout my years at RIC I have had the pleasure of working with many guests artists and guest directors. I have also been able to choreograph on my peers as part of the student choreography showcase. My interest in choreography has helped to inform my interests in directing. Through my program at Rhode Island College I have also been able to direct a production of Nothing Is The End of the World (Except for the End of the World) by Bekah Brunstetter.
I have also been fortunate enough to work on and perform in a collection of RIC Theater productions. Outside of school I have been able to perform in several flash mobs, including one for the Boston Women's Empowerment Conference and a wedding.
Currently, I am using my dance and theater skills to help build community of performing arts. I teach dance and music at Empowered Movement and choreograph and direct at Triboro Youth Theater.
